I am still waiting to see how the whole mobile industry shakes out. Some people claim that PDAs are on their way out and those swiss-army-phones are on the way in. It seems Intel could care less as long as they sell their processors.

Intel has announced a new family of processors based on Intel XScale technology capable of handling multiple forms of wireless broadband access, claiming sufficient computing power to provide mobile phones with full motion video conferencing capabilities and PDAs with DVD-quality video playback.

Sounds good, but if these new phones look anything like the N-Gage you can count me out. That thing is so ugly they don’t even put a picture of it on its own website. Sad.
