I learned to program in 3rd grade. The language? Basic of course. All those GOTOs filling my screen was a sight to behold. Now my language of choice (*snicker*) has turned 40. Congratulations to its creators, John Kemeny and Thomas Kurtz (and their students), for creating a language that I am sure is still used somewhere besides TI calculators.
Now if only more languages would bring back the all-powerful GOTO statement.
