This is the review that seals the deal. I have read many different opinions of GMail, but this review really wishes I could get my hands on it. There are just too many features that surpass the current online services that it would be crazy to not setup at least one account (I have 3-4 planned).
So far, so good! We’re already loving Gmail and it’s only been a few days since we started using it. Since we constantly hop back and forth between Linux and Windows boxes, Gmail is a godsend. We don’t have to mess around with local pop3 e-mail clients. We can just open our browser in Linux or Windows and get immediate access to all of our e-mail. And, unlike Yahoo or Hotmail, we simply don’t have to worry about running out of space. At this point we’re only up to 39MB out of our 1GB total.
I need 1GB. I need it! Anyone got some invites they could toss my way?

3heck, that’s nothing. I have 80 gigs of email storage, with ZERO advertisements.
It’s called… my hard drive. Webmail’s great for checking from work, but I’d rather keep it at home where it’s my fault if it crashes and goes away. :-)
Of course, I’m only using about 1.4 gigs right now…
