Since all the geeks out there love to continuously upgrade their systems for greater performance, what greater excuse can you get than PCI is going out the door? No longer will we use PCI soundcards or ethernet adapters. Now we get to have super fast soundcards and ethernet adapters! Well okay that part isn’t such a big deal, but it is good to see that there will now be one standards to which all our cards can work. No longer are video card manufacturers forced to decide between PCI and AGP. Long live PCI Express.
