We know COBOL is not dead, but there certainly are going to be a lot of applications moving from COBOL to Java and Sun needs to take advantage of this. To tackle the situation at hand they have been working on a secret project dubbed “Rave” which makes Java development as easy as VB. So far the early reviews are good. Sun needs something to help them out that’s for sure.
