A stupendous article by Steven Garrity describing the Open Source applications that are getting interface design right. Glad to see someone with a different perspective on the issue because after Gruber’s article the whole world seemed to be condeming OS software.
It does take a group of people to learn to say “no” as it is very tempting to add the latest and greatest features to your software. Some people enjoy crazy options, but once they are set who uses them? Keep it simple. Hard to go wrong with that.
