This, however, is Scott’s personal journey, in search of the perfect communal gaming experience. Scott occasionally joins us for our Friday Night Follies LAN gaming sessions in the basement of the Case House. When he bought a house in Austin, Texas, he decided he wanted a space for LAN games. This is the story of his rather expensive journey. But anyone who wants to do something similar can learn from it, even if your budget isn’t as generous.

I haven’t been to a LAN party in a long time and after reading this article I only wish to get my place hooked up to run one myself. Of course there is the small factor of having to pay the electric bill so I will abstain.
