One of the luxuries of playing console games is that if you have a kickass home theater system you are in for a wild ride. PC gamers were lucky to get away with a nice monitor and killer sound system. Well there is a new technology that will allow you to drop your PC games into your HTPC and start fragging away in the comfort of your living room.

I was surprised at how much more fun it was to go through the game when it was running through my home entertainment system. It’s really nice to use the television and surround sound is a blast – no pun intended. It’s also nice to be able to sit back and relax on your living room couch while playing, instead of being bent over a computer at a desk in an uncomfortable office chair.

As is the case with other HTPC the DHS can also act as a DVR box and DVD player. However, the $2,000 price point of the unit reviewed will definitely turn a lot of people away.
