At first I was a little bit sceptical about migrating Orase from PHP 4 to PHP 5, because the existing code base was working fine. But while playing around with PHP 5 I realized that there are so many powerful new features that could improve my search engine – and then I started migration. The migration process was very easy and fast, because I had several online resources to help me.
