Harsh? Not in the least bit. It has been said before this week and last, but Technorati has no right to even have a website up until they create a usable service. At their beginnings you would get errors every once in a while, but now you just get them all the time. I love to see who is linking to FG, but doing so through Technorati is damn near impossible.
Would it seriously hurt them to take the site down and put up a little splash page saying they will return 2008 once they get everything together? They had a cool service (past tense) that I loved to use (past tense) and therefore I have a right to be angry because they took one of my favorite toys away.
Instead they pay Adaptive Path some money to fix things on the front end to beautify it up a bit, but I wonder if they only created one screen because this is the only thing I see nowadays:

At least give me an error message or something. Anything but a blank screen. I know overtime they will get everything straightened out, but it sucks to see a great service go from bad to worse with no end in sight.

One word: Bloglines. I hear it’s the new technorati.
Well things have certainly improved since I wrote this. Can’t get any results though when I add a ‘/’ to the url.
