For all you benchmarking junkies out there, the newest version of 3DMark05 has been released. To anyone that’s not in the know, this is the benchmarking application when testing video cards. You can get a free demo download and run your card through the torture if you so desire, but I would only advise so if you have a modern card. Otherwise you will be viewing a glorified slideshow.

The Tech Report has run a large number of cards through the benchmark so that you can see how they perform. Interestingly enough, it looks like the Ati’s come out on top.
