Yeah I heard about Grave of the Fireflies last year, but heard it was one of those things you could only watch once in your life since it was so depressing.

Grave of the Fireflies is I think the more common name. But yeah. Need to check that one out. I hear it’s emotionally depressing but good.

Rurouni Kenshin actually had a run on the Cartoon Network/Channel for awhile. Not sure if it still is on there or not, but a decent series if anything.

For a good anime movie that is a little different, I suggest Tombstones for Fireflies (name varies).

Oh I will eventually check it out. Problem is these damn companies are releasing the Anime much faster than the rate I am able to buy them at and I already have a lot of catching up to do.

You on the other hand seem to work at the factories where they produce them and just take them right off the conveyor belt.

Hahaha! Wait until you visit a convention. Strangeness galore! Lots of girls speaking in high pitched voices and pseudo-Japanese, and a lot of guys trying desperately to pick up said girls, who are also desperate. Watching it is like a social experiment gone awry.

But it’s too bad that you passed up a completely good series because you were steering clear of the antics of uberdork. “In the zone” — LOL.

Samurai X is really Rurouni Kenshin–so it may be a good idea to find the ones marked with the original Japanese name. And get the series with the Shishio story arc. The series really begins and ends there.
