If you think of it as a company too, it's great direct feedback from the customers. True that correcting design flaws and issues takes time (sometimes), but this is a very inexpensive way for them to learn about how customers are "viewing" their products. As for customers, what can I say! I am a compulsive Amazon reviewer and somewhat (more controlled these days) of a compulsive Amazon buyer, at times... so I love it! :) Nice blog, BTW! They spend lots of bucks on branding & product shots. No doubt they feel undermined by user-submitted photos. At the same time, they probably felt that way w/ text comments, but this is bringing it to a new level. Like it personally though.
