A nice little history of the Contra series, from the NES up through Neo Contra for the PS2.
Contra was one of the first games I ever played on the NES, and one of the only ones my dad would play with me. I remember staying up late every Saturday night to play the game, of course using the Up, up, down, down cheat code. :)

1I have fond memories of playing the NES version with a friend of mine, it was incredibly fun when someone else joined in. Probably because then you weren’t cursing alone.

3I remember me and my little cousin would stay up until the sun came up playing Contra on the NES. After I out grew my NES and started getting into Playstation and the Dreamcast, I’ve never picked up a Contra title since then. Maybe I’ll go and rent Neo Contra and call him up just to see if he’s up to doing the Contra all nighters all over again.

I dont see it above, sorry if it’s already been said… you could actually use that 3 times to have up to 90 guys.. or maybe it’s just that you got 3 continues and 30 guys for each.. dont remember, it’s been a long time. :-)

7They’re both right, the difference is that you have to put the select in there to get to *two* players.
