I figured the Christmas shopping season was a good time to post a couple deal sites I came across recently. The first, NaughtyCodes.com lists coupon codes for many online stores, including Tweeter.com, TheSpaceStore.com, and, even TheFerretStore.com.
We find and list ALL of the coupon codes and promotional codes that can be found. If it’s out there, we have it! Be naughty with us by using these codes for added discounts when shopping online.
There’s also DealHunting.com which is a good resource for about any type of deal on the web. My favorite find is a thread in the DealHunting.com forums where a marketing manager from Overstock.com is trying to get people the deals they want on Overstock.com products. People propose a price for a specific item and Marketing Manager Adam tries to make it happen. And, yes, electronics are fair game.

1Ever heard of spoofee.com? My friend sent me the links and it seems to have some pretty amazing deals.

2Seems that NaughtyCodes.com is not Firefox (Mac, 1.0) friendly… the popup window with the codes isn’t created, even with Popup Blocking off. So when using Firefox, it’s a glorified redirect page.

3Spoofee.com looks pretty good. So good it makes me want to buy the KitchenAid stand mixer I’ve been wanting for months. Must…resist… They also seem to be doing the Overstock discount thing.
Darkside, I used the NaughtyCodes.com site in Firefox (PC, 1.0), and everything worked fine. I’m not a huge fan of the way they chose to present the codes, but I had no problems with the popup window.

4I don’t usually bother with specific sites like that… I just google the name of the place I’m shopping at with the phrase “coupon codes” or whatever specific lingo that site uses.
but it’s definitely a great idea to do it. I consistantly save 10% or more when buying from compgeeks.com, for example
