we&#039;re thinking that it&#039;s better to get people used to the idea that their photos can be easily geotagged than to wait for GPS encoding to really arrive. we take a fairly liberal approach to including photos - so this is why if you tag your photos with &quot;beach,&quot; it&#039;ll sometimes show up in Beach, North Dakota.

the issue isn&#039;t so much the geo-encoding - that part&#039;s fairly easy. the real thing, we think, is finding a way for people to start exploring in this space, with photos that they already have online - before they have the technology.</description>
