OK…. I’m about the farthest thing from someone who purchases hiphop disks there’s ever been, but I ran across this on the iTunes store and after listening to just a coupe clips HAD to buy it, because I couldn’t stop laughing. It seems physicist Stephen Hawking has decided to start up a new career as a gangsta rapper. With such classics as “Biz Bizang” and “All My Shootings Be Drivebys” and his new ode to GTA3 (”It’s about time somebody made a video game out of my life”)… and a tribute to his past in the hood with “The Dozens,” the album contains a healthy mix of quantum physics, railing against (and occasionally capping punks from) “The Institute” (MIT), and typical gangsta violence. The Hawkman Cometh… and he is one bad mutha-physicist.
You can pick it up on itunes or Amazon. ITunes has clips… Amazon doesn’t (yet).
