4-Week Wait for iPod Shuffle
Tuesday, Jan. 18 2005 | Author: ScrivsApple did a 180 with the low-pricing of new products, but it seems some things will never change. I suppose this is a good sign showing that demand is strong. However, one day Apple will need to learn that having the products shipping NOW will become an important factor in their success. Of course I am probably just talking out of my ass.

2Rob, you gotta understand: Apple spends a lot of money on brilliant engineers and designers. To save money on HR, their sales forecasting team consists of a monkey flipping a coin: once for most projects, and two or three times for really important projects. But recently, they’ve outsourced the job to another monkey in India who will work for bits of banana peels. Yup. He’s the one responsible for minipod shortage last year too.
