Synergy is a better solution. I use it to control my workstation (Linux) and a dummy test system (Windows).

I once had it running across 4-5 computers.

I have been looking for an application that I can use to remote to my win2k and/or XP box at the office from my powerbook.

I have been using Remote Desktop, but would like something that will also let me transfer files over the connection (like PCAnywhere between 2 PCs).

This program claims to be cross platform. I know there are several VNC products for Mac.

The Synergy project on Sourceforge does something along the same lines and is cross-platform (Unix, Mac, Windows). Works great.
