A couple of reports out there that the iPod mini may be shipping with 5 gig drives instead of 4 gig drives now… either because of a 4 gig shortage from Hitachi, or in preparation for a soon to be announced 5 gig mini (the drives are limited to 4 gigs via firmware, which would be reset to 5 with a firmware update after the announcement. No real confirmation, but could be interesting.
And of course, if you don’t have an ipod yet, you can get an ipod or ipod mini for free, here or a free photo ipod here.
