World of Warcraft fever has hit some members of the FG staff, myself being included. Over the past 2 weeks JC, Derek and myself have been running around completing quest, slaughtering murlocs, and working the Auction House. Over the period I play this wonderful game I will be sharing some tales of my adventures, which will be filled with wonderful pictures so you don’t actually have to read the words.
For now I thought I would give you a little sample of what’s happening in WoW.
In this scene (click on image for larger view) I am Brefli and Derek is Munix. The third person in the group not seen in the screenshot is JC, aka Lauran. At this time we are working on a quest to kill Eliza who is that baddie you can partially see on your screen. Eliza has this wonderful ability to call 3 more baddies up to help her out so if you do the math Derek and I were outnumbered 4 to 2. Seeing how powerful we are and everything we figured we could still do this and went for Eliza’s head.
After trial number one you can see the end result. I am dead and Derek is a good distance away from Eliza. Derek, being a paladin, has the ability to resurrect people, but was too scared at the time to move any closer to help bring me back to life and save me the trouble of running back to my corpse. So I laid face down in the grass for about 4 minutes.
Eventually he came in and resurrected me and JC finally arrived (fashionably late) and we slayed the baddie and the xp was our’s. Glorious day.
I ran across the entire continent to save your butt and you complain about me being fashionably late?
Granted, I do run 30% faster than you. ;-)
Brefli never needs saving…he is the saver…not the savee.

heh. I seem to recall a certain dueling session… derek and I both wasted badbref in a heartbeat… and even I didn’t do too well against derek. Pallys are tough if you can’t get them from a distance, fast, and preferably interrupt their healing abilities, too….
I do recall being at least 2 levels lower than you at the time…
It’s got nothing to do with paladin or no paladin. I am just awesome at WoW.

Eliza’s a bitch to kill. But in the spirit of it, you could’ve used a soulstone and resurrected yourself. ;)
He’d probably already used that one. He dies alot. ;-)
Actually since I was with a Paladin I gave him the soulstone so if we both died he could rez himself then me. I am smart like that.
Ah, nicely played. That being the case, he’s clearly a chicken. :x
