ReportLab is a company which describes itself as “the print button for e-business.” Although it sells commercial products for PDF output, it also has an open source toolkit.

Among the open source items available:

• The ReportLab Open Source PDF library – PDF generating toolkit
• PyRXP – validating XML parser available for Python
• Preppy – a text-preprocessor
• PythonPoint – a library for creating presentation slides

Looks handy for anyone that might be needing to generate easily printable database-generated reports.
