Nicholas Negroponte is planning to release a PC that will sell for $100. Said to include a 14-inch LCD and running Linux, it is backed by AMD, Google, Motorola and others.

Only available to governments of developing countries at a minimum order of 1 million units. The Chinese Dept. of Education is said to be first on the list.
