…or an MP3 player, but we all know that there are no other mp3 players on the market *cough*. What is funny though is that here in Tampa I have yet to meet another person with an iPod. Maybe since I am in the clubs all the time there is no need to carry them, but even in the malls or anywhere else I have yet to see someone with an iPod.
I know of one person with an mp3 player. Maybe I am just no observant enough or us Florida people are enjoying the 85 degree weather and looking at the women in their tiny bikinis which do not come with iPod pockets.

1Wow, really? I see about 10 different people per day on the trains in Dallas with iPods. Just shows how much of a boom these really are I guess. Until I saw this for myself, I thought the numbers were all fluff.

2I see ‘em all the time here in Philly. Especially at train stations/bus stops. Maybe the fact that you can’t go more than 30 feet in Florida without a car (and as a result, a car stereo) has something to do with it Scrivs ;)

3Nah, it’s definitely because we are cooler. And most of the people here don’t wear that much clothing so maybe adding an iPod would ruin the outfit.

Yeah I know. Those old tourists wearing Speedos on Fort Lauderdale beach used to really kill the day for me :(

5I live in “the OC” and pretty much everyone at 24hr Fitness carries an iPod. I also see people all the time at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo sporting their iPods. I’ve even heard people say “yea, today I went to the mall, iPoded, and…” haha, oh boy.
Funny though how neither me nor my best friend have iPods. We’d much rather put the extra money towards our next trip to Ireland. The walkman will have to do, haha.

6I am just a bit farther south in Ft. Myers and I haven’t seen anyone with an iPod. FL is so out of the loop on so many things. I never saw a mini-disc player when they were big either.
Guess it’s the heat.

7I’m from way down south at the tip of Texas, and I’ve seen atleast 2 people with iPods. A random guy at school and just yesterday when I went to the grocery store, there was a guy cleaning up in the deli area who had an iPod strapped to his arm.
