Brad over at Wincustomize.com has put together a list of things that he believes all operating systems should have. These include:

  1. Seamless Distributed Computing
  2. Seamless Distributed File System Databases
  3. Global User Managment
  4. Universal Environments
  5. Component Based Operating Systems

Only one that really interests me is #1 since I have 2 other computers that at times are sitting idly doing nothing. I should have them crunch how much money I am going to make per second for the next 80 years. What am I talking about? I can do that on my own. $0.0000005 seems about right.
