However, when I finally tried it, I wondered how I lived without it. It has really made my music-listening habits a lot easier and enjoyable. If you haven't tried it, at least give it a chance. If you'd like to play it safe, create a new partition, copy in a bunch of songs in there, and let iTunes manage that partition's collection. And on top of that, it uniquely tags all of your files, which is handy for use with services like Audioscrobbler.
