Calvin and Hobbes Supersource

I am not sure how long this will be online either, but here is a site with scans of EVERY Calvin and Hobbes comic from 1985 – 1995.

Let’s face it – the Sunday Comics have been garbage since Bill Watterson went into retirement and took our favorite six year old with him. Relive the good ol’ days!

The site was posted on Fark late last night, so it may be running a little slow. Hope Bill Watterson doesn’t read Fark or this site will be shut down faster than Spaceman Spiff zipping through space in his spaceship.

Cool! I’ve bookmarked this with delicious and plan on browsing the archives later. I’m sure it’ll be only a matter of time before this is pulled by Universal Syndicate.

Calving and Hobbes has been, and still is, the most poignant and relevant comic strip I’ve ever read–and yes, I mean, ever.

And Bill Watterson is a rare gem in the industry, one that never has bowed to the pressures of too much licensing and marketing issues, and always pushed the boundaries of his medium through the art as well as the storytelling.

Looks as though the site is no longer available (at least from here)… Fark’d I guess :(
