I knew I would forget it. I suck at remembering important dates. In any case FG turned 1 year old on February 24th. I think that’s pretty cool. It’s very rare that I stick with anything for longer than a year without losing some sort of interest, but FG continues to be fun for me.
To commemorate this momentous occassion I am going to give away a prize…*looks around room for some junk*…ahh here we go. Last week I bought the movie Scarface without realizing that it was the fullscreen edition. I wanted the widescreen edition. So instead of returning it I am going to give it away. So there ya go, a brand new 2-disc anniversay edition of Scarface.
Now let’s see what I should make (yes it’s humorous that I said “make”) you do. How about everyone shows their real life desktop setup and the worst one gets the prize? Sounds good to me. Here is pic of mine and I obviously I won’t win because my desktop rocks, with the exception of the 400 year old desk that holds the goods.

Well I seem to have a videogame, anime, and dvd fetish so balancing all of those can be difficult at times. I had a great collection of stuff a couple of years ago, but had to sell it off to pay the bills. Won’t do that again.
I don’t need/want the Scarface DVD plus I’m a FG editor so I’m out of the running anyway. But…just for the hell of it, my desktop. I use the term “desktop” loosely.
Ah man you gotta love those sweet love pillows Nicole has. Damn I need some of those.

That’s my desk fan blowing into my case keeping it at a cool 61 degrees celsius — one degree cooler than overheating/crashing. The thing beeps non-stop in warning mode that it’s about to die — I just turn up the music and act like it’s not there.
I’d work you all right now, but that would entail going out to my truck and snagging my digital camera. I may do it just for a laugh…
Just for a taste, here was my computer 5 or so years ago.

Hey, don’t knock the white couch. I have a lot of bright decor in my apartment so I had to go with a neutral couch. Also, the killer red pillows can be yours at your nearest Pier 1.
As of right now, I would say that OmaBuck has everyone beat.

I do have a really old desktop here, which i use from time to time (would beat OmaBuck). But since it isn’t my main desktop i guess it’s against the rules. I’m also not in the US so…
