I would rather see Nintendo go down in flames - destroyed by M$ as this is M$'s ONLY M.O. - than to ever be bought up and ruined by M$!

Nintendo has a one hundred year history. They've 'adapted' several times. If it's to be games only, then PS3 and PSP are the platforms they'll choose.

Bill's tiny ego will propel him to force the XBox2's success. However, Nintendo would actually succeed fairly well as the so-called 3rd choice 'worldwide'.

Just remember, they'll likely remain 2nd choice in Japan. And that's huge, 'business-wise'. Also, the Japanese market tends to prefer quality - most Japanese DON'T see M$ as quality.

Further, M$ is an American company. Their XBox's game selection appeals to the American gamer. M$ seems unlikely to enlist American developers to create the dozens of creative (read: kookie) game categories that the Japanese love to snap up, and this includes RPGs!

M$ has had four years and thus far they have 2, yes two RPGs. And they've alledgedly got FinFan creator doing two for the Xb2. Wow.
