MP3Tunes officially launched today and it seems to have everything right with what I can see, although the site is fugly. Here are the goods:
Downside is small library of music, but of course they say that will continue to grow. I’m not going into if this is the iTunes killer scenario or not, but it’s good to see competition. I mean real competition.

It’s 0.05 per song and 0.50 for cd (and most of them are even cheaper – 0.40 and less) Double albums are about $1.00
It’s russian site, but it has english version too.

So far I can’t perswade my dad to sign up for it so i can give it a try but I believe the deal is you select the music (duh!) then you chose YOUR OWN encoding options (none of this mp3 or wma bullshit for ME thankyou) and you pay between $0.01 and $0.02 per megabyte.
