The worm proliferates by e-mailing itself through its own SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) engine, according to Sophos. When it infects a computer it scans the hard disk for e-mail addresses and then takes the domains of the addresses it finds and queries search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Lycos looking for similar addresses…

If anything these virus writers are certainly getting more creative. What’s humorous though is that I get so much spam to my Yahoo account that I won’t even know how much this virus effects that mailbox. I wonder what this one does?

I need to create a virus that spreads quickly and finds all the porn on people’s computers and sends it to a server for my own enjoyment. Yeah, I like porn. And?
