Well after all the rumor and speculation it looks like About.com has found a buyer and it’s the New York Times.
The New York Times Co. on Thursday said it will buy online information portal About.com from publisher Primedia Inc. for $410 million as it works to broaden its online advertising base.
I’m not sold on the fact that the site is worth that much.
