The PDD Helix Phone is a clamshell phone with a swivel OLED display and a hard drive possibly large enough to compete with a low-end iPod (20GB supposedly). Videos, 5MP digital camera, MP3 playback, c’mon — who doesn’t want this?

3I would actually pay $1000 for this phone now.
20gig ipod: $300
5mpxl compact camera: $350 (1gig sd card: $100)
phone: $200
having to carry only one: priceless
Too bad it’s only a ‘concept’, most of which never see the light of day until it becomes irrelevant. I hear in Korea, they already have 3mpxl camera phones with 1gig storage. By the time this ‘concept’ phone becomes a reality in a few years, it’ll be junk in Korea.

5I think its wicked that they came up with this design, but I do not think we have the technology to display photo pictures onto OLED or at least not as good as LCD. And I dont think it will be 300 USD price range. I think it has got to be more! much more! and how about the battery life? If ipod couldn’t make pass 6 hours of battery life…. Anyway, its only concept, i think they will just go downgrade to a lower megapixels camera and/or lower the spec for the 20GB to 4/5GB hdd.
As an engineer that never got the money to finished my degree due to financial situation, I want to F**King work there right now!!!!
