Why do iPods need colour LCD screens if you’re using them to play music? Frankly, I’m glad Apple had the good sense to stick with a monochrome display to keep costs down for lower end iPods.

Donnie, (with this new connector anyway) it’s so you don’t have to tote around a laptop to dump photos off your camera whenever you fill up your 512 or 1g or whatever card. And so execs and soccer moms can do slideshows of their presentations/vacations and feel special. lol

Can it really be that expensive to put a color LCD into a mini? I mean, just about every cellphone has a color screen these days.

Nice upgrades. I would have liked to have seen the color screen in the Mini, but the capacity bump is nice.

The bluetooth-capable iPod will probably be the next big thing…maybe announced at WWDC in June?

I think the ability to connect it to the camera directly is awesome. Should have been there from the start though.

I didn’t read all the rumor sites so I’m not disappointed by it. :)
