I know there have been times when I have nothing to do and wanted to try out 7 different OSes in one day, but couldn’t figure out a way to benchmark them on one PC to fully understand which one would work best for me. Thanks to this article though I now have that option.

It’s a nice thought, but running one application will not be indicative of the overall system performance on your system. In fact this is only good for the people who have a heavy investment in MySQL. Other than that you are better off benchmarking videogames in my opinion.
