		<description>Go with iTunes, Audacity would be overkill.  iTunes will convert it to whatever you set in the import properties like Kim said.

So if you want it in AAC, iTunes will give you the convert option as long as the file is not already AAC.  Just make the playlist (smart playlist using kind) and then select all and convert.</description>
