Have you been thinking of getting a del.icio.us account, but don’t want to spend time adding all your bookmarks from Firefox?
German blogger Julian Bez e-mailed me last night with the link to a new script he launched yesterday. It allows you to upload all your bookmarks to your del.icio.us account, and apply tags to them, in just a few steps.
Basically, explort your bookmarks from Firefox as an html file. Then go to his site and upload the file. After a few seconds (time depends on how many bookmarks you have), you are presnted with a list of all your bookmarks. This is where you can select whether or not to include them in the del.icio.us list or not. You can also apply tags to them. Add your username and password at the end of the list and ta-da, all your bookmarks are on your del.icio.us list.
If only this was arround when I first set up my del.icio.us account.
If you happen to use multiple machines and want to sync your bookmarks automatically, you can then go and download the Foxylicious extension, which will pull your del.icio.us list into your Firefox bookmarks.
