Just when you thought nothing in Google’s ever growing arsenal would get out of beta they go on ahead and release their desktop search tool. I guess they didn’t like the fact that most regular computer users are hesitant to use anything with ‘beta’ associated with it and this gives them a technology that evens them with Microsoft and Yahoo.
Along with the new release they are including a SDK hoping to win the hearts of developers everywhere because we all know the more plugins you got the more popular you become.
This is so fun watching Yahoo, Microsoft and Google go head-to-head. Not so fun if you are deveoping applications that they have their eye on…
