I love it when people on the Internet make things easy for me by, say, compiling a healthy helping of basic information on a subject into one document. A generous soul has done such a thing by creating a document for learning UNIX in 10 minutes.
This is something that I have given out to students (CAD user training) of mine for several years. The purpose is to have on one page the basics to get started using the UNIX command line (so that they don’t call me asking what to do the first time someone gives them a tape or something).
I’m bookmarking this one to pass along to anyone just starting out with UNIX who needs an easy, concise reference.

1That is really handy. I can use those during my new Linux project. Thanks!
