Online FPS Game In Shockwave

This was not what I needed to find while at work.

A highly addictive first person shooter written in Shockwave. Very “Unreal Tournament-like” in the look and feel of it. You can even customize what keys are used to control the movements, the mouse sensitivity, the view bob…basically everything you could set in an FPS that runs on your machine. You can also tell it how many bots to put in the game.

The FAQ says that AI and network play are currently in development.

UPDATE

Apparently this was just a beta test and the software has now gone back into development. It was fun while it lasted.

Ok, Here is how to join an online game.

1. Change the “Network Mode” to “Server”
2. Press the Gray box next to the “Internet IP” Textbox.
3. Press the “Refresh Button”
4. Double Click a game.
5. Type the password in (if there is one)
6. Press “OK”
7. Press “Start” on the Main Menu

one of the best free online games available at the moment, to my knowledge, is Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. you can find this game available for free full download on the official website: http://www.enemyterritory.com
First do a “base download”, then download “update” and if you feel brave, you can download “ET Pro”… if you’re not used to this game you will get WASTED on ET Pro… loool, don’t say i didn’t warn you!!!!! Enjoy!
