I don’t know French, but according to the Babel Fish translation, at IDF 2005, Intel announced a mini PC, strikingly similar to the Mac mini, in size and design. It has a CD/DVD drive, runs Windows XP MCE and uses the Napa platform, the next Centrino.

2From what I’ve read, it’s just a concept PC. No exact specs, likely release date, or price point. I wouldn’t say that it’s ugly — it would be cool if it came to fruition.

3Got to agree with Darkside – it’s in concept after the mac mini, it could just be a polystyrene mock-up and *still* they can’t be bothered to make it sleek or smooth. I bet the final version will sound like a wind-tunnel too.
