RSS is getting more exposure to those who may not have been exposed to it before. Today I ran across a post on the Yahoo! SearchBlog that says the Yahoo! toolbar is now autodiscovering RSS feeds and allowing people to save them to their My Yahoo! account.
In addition to that, there are plugins for the chat client Trillian that acts as an RSS aggregator (download , screenshot).
