I describe it as a ‘Titanic’ in space. It’s a real tearjerker, and it will be received in a way that none of us can expect
WTF is that shit? He must be out of his mind if people are going to see it like they do Titanic. Nobody knew what to expect with Titanic, but everyone knows Star Wars and already has their preconceived notions of it. And now he is trying to tell us it will be as emotionally moving as Titanic? Please.

1It’s funny, I cried through Ep 1 and 2. They were so bad. I expect to cry through Ep 3 for the exact same reason

2You mean you didn’t know that the Titanic was going to sink? ;>

3I used to wonder how Lucas managed to screw up the unscrewupable series.
Now I’m wondering how Lucas managed to make the original trilogy in the first place.

4Apparently Mr. Lucas is gonna screw it up more with a full 3D version of the original trilogy, if anyone still reads slashdot.

6Titanic was an emotional journey because for two and a half hours nothing but inane waffle and general brit-hating happened. Then the ship finally sank and we could all go home.

7The worst part about Titanic was that Leo lived. The same sentence can be modified for SW by swapping “Leo” for “Jar Jar”

8If going to see Titanic and believing that the un-sinkable ship would somehow miss the iceberg this time around…then you really have no clue!
Ep 3 still has a chance to be the binding glue to the whole Star Wars story. I for one…will be there opening day. I know that Lucas is a brain dork…and might fit on the same page as Michael Jackson…Freak or Freaky??? You decideâŠ

10Episode 1, 2 and 3 weren’t made in the beginning because they stunk. The demand to see them on the big screen is why Lucas did them. But even he admits Episodes 4, 5 and 6 are much better.
I don’t expect too much out of Episode 3 other than the special effects.
