My favorite browser is Firefox, but as it is right now IE isn't *that* bad. If your main hobby on the internet isn't looking around for porn sites then you're pretty safe with IE. The worst things I've caught with it since SP2 were all tracking cookies and nowadays I don't get even those.

If you put Firefox in the hands of a dummy he'll still get Bonzi buddy in a couple of days.

You might see this as a sign that Firefox has many vulnerabilities. The case is rather that Mozilla doesn't wait with updates, and doesn't hide vulnerabilities as other browsers.
