Derek has a post over at Insert 25 (WoW Entrepreneurs – Cornering the Market) that goes into detail how two guys were able to buy every item in the auction house on one server and resale them at higher prices.
Of course many people are screaming bloody murder, but I think this is just a brilliant way of working the system. Instead of complaining I think these people should get creative and figure out how to beat the monopolists. That seems to be more fun than running around killing Murlocs.
In any case go check it out to see how it was done.
