You use the alpha image loader thing with the js and all IE’s display transparent png’s. (ie mac has some problems but who cares).

IE is a piece of junk and always will be – they have billions of dollars and still can’t make a browser that works correctly. Fuckers.

Oh… it won’t… but they will try to say it does by adding bits and peaces that may or may not work, then bully people into “fixing” there sites to support IE’s “version” of CSS2.

We need an agency simular to CompTIA… only give them the power to fine non-compliant members and use that money to further research new open standards…

Talk about wishfull thinking.

I am guessing that Microsoft’s decision to incorporate Internet Explorer with the operating system is making it hard to make the incremental changes that are so easy for stand-alone browsers like Firefox and Opera.

Maybe I’m missing the point, but how hard is it for them to support the PNG format, or comply with CSS standards? They’ve been working on IE for an awfully long time, and everyone other browser has those two “features”.

Too bad they still aren’t supporting CSS completely. I’d much rather have CSS work the way it’s supposed to before they add support for PNGs.
