We’ve just seen the release of the Transformers series on DVD in the UK. I was so chuffed! Whenever I’m bored and there’s nothing on the box, I pop one on and remember the old days.

A classic. I hope the film does justice to the original.

I bought about 10 VHS tapes off of eBay about 6 months ago, for something like $20. A couple of single episodes, but most are a couple episodes each. My 4 year old son got addicted to them after we rented The Transformers Movie some time ago.

Now he has about a dozen or so Transformer toys and he’s seen the tapes so many times, he can pretty much tell you what’s going to happen next. Still watches them like he’s never seen them. Now I just need to figure out how to get them from VHS to DVD…

Kinda cool actually, as I was into them big time back in the 80s and it’s amazing how much I remember. Cartoons these days just don’t compare to old school Transformers.
