Pi To One Million Decimal Places

I know how it goes. You woke up on this beautiful Friday and thought to yourself what in the world would Pi look like if you could see it go to one million decimal places. It’s okay because I was thinking the exact same thing and look what I found. This page actually shows Pi all the way to its millionth decimal place.

How useful…

“It’s not the number! It’s the meaning. It’s the syntax. It’s what’s between the numbers.”

If you haven’t seen the movie Pi, I would highly recommend that you rent it for $5 or go to Circuit City and buy it for $7, because as all truly great movies this one was under-rated, just as another one directed by Darren Aronofsky; Requiem for a Dream.

If you are interested in numbers and number theories, Pi is worth a watch.

Notice that there is one part of π that has six “1″s. i.e. do a search for “111111″ on that page, and youll see what I mean.
What are the chances of that!?

I just think that this site is a testament to the number 1,000,000. I mean, nobody really thinks about how big a number like a million really is, but, it freakin huge.

  4. Nathan J says:

It seems that the chances of finding 6 1′s is roughly, oh id say, 1 in a million.

  5. God says:

    More like… 6 in a illion.

  7. Laura says:
