Hello if anyone knows how to make the sidekick change like change the apn and username and password i am thinking of getting the sidekick lx 2009 so i need to use it on the network 3 so what do i set the apn to for 3 ireland i found out that the sidekick will work on the network if use the broadban sim thingy so if anyone needs to call me on this number 00353830072273 or email me colin_odwyer@hotmail.com

My wap gprs provider has some sites blocked that i cant get into like yahoo & much more. Pls who can tell me how to bypass that and get hooked on those sites. I would also need a free wap proxy which i can connect to after connecting to my home network.

Hey, yeah … wanna know whats WAY easier then changing the IP and all that shi- so your phone’s mobile charges you airtime minits … try just paying the like $10-$15 a month for unlimited web/wap/internet what have you, and if you wanna help me out with something, then why dont you explaine how to change the setting on my Wap so i can download the Super Bluetooth Hack application to my LG Lx260 (rumor) considering iv try’d literally EVERYTHING and its pretty damn well then only application i really want.

same problem as the rest… purchased an “unlocked” lg 9200 and it is stuck with the fido wap settings… can’t change them…

I just brought a LG F9200 off of Ebay. it is branded and locked to FIDO. I tried to call FIDO to get them to unlock the WAP so I can use it on my carrier – Cingular. is there a way I can unlock the WAP address? thanks!

I have a tmobile and it’s on their website how to configure the browser settings. Changed mine from FIDO to T-Zones as well as messaging. Basically, it sends it to your phone and all you have to do is save it.

You might try Cingular’s FAQ or support. Hope this helps.

im having the same problem as allie i have a lg 9200 from fido unlocked to cingular but i cant you browser cant change settings because the phone has browser locked. anyonehave a clue how to unlock so i can enter the cingular settings? thanks for your time

Cpt. Blowhard: Yeah, I was kind of using the words interchangably when I wrote the article. Some things you can do with WAP (like the Trillian example I gave) are very un-weblike, though…would you consider using Trillian or AIM or anything like that on a computer to be browsing the web?

I’m unclear on one thing. Does this mean that if I’m on my cell phone for 20 mins with this system I’d be charged 20 mins of normal airtime as if I’ve been on the phone for 20 mins regardless of how much data I move?
