I remember when I was younger I went to the library and got a book on chess so that I could learn how to play the game. Unfortunately I lacked the patience to think out all of my moves and lost on a consistent basis. I have always been fascinated by the man vs. machine matches that seem to happen on a yearly basis and wonder when the time will come where humans can no longer beat computers at our own game.
If you are interested in becoming better at chess by reading into some of the classic moves your opponent is trying to achieve, then this site is a great resource for you.
Anyone have some good places to play online? I think I might try a game or two.
